The Name of this blog...
I was playing around on youtube the other night and found that Goran Bregovic had videos on it. This shouldn't have surprised me - I mean now you can find practically anything on youtube, but it did. So here for your viewing and listening pleasure (although the video quality isn't so great) is Goran Bregovic & his Wedding and Funerals Band playing Mesecina (loose translation - Moonlight).And what I believe to be the most popular of his songs Kalashnikov (the Russian AK-47).
Both of these songs can be heard on the album Underground and were featured in the Serbian film by the same name... Listen/Watch and you will understand why I love this music enough to name my blog after it!
